Daily flights operate between a number of UK / EU / US cities and Lagos. You will need to apply for a visa before you fly, which can be obtained at your closest Nigerian embassy. More information on obtaining a Nigerian visa can be found here.

    • Additional visa information for UK travellers can be found here.
    • Additional visa information for US travellers can be found here.
  • CONSIDERATIONS BEFORE TRAVEL

Please be advised that is is a requirement by many governments that you must be vaccinated against yellow fever in order to travel to Nigeria. We recommend speaking to your doctor and/or a travel nurse in the weeks prior to departure for any necessary injections.

Taking out travel/health insurance is absolutely vital before traveling to Nigeria. Please ensure you are covered for travel before flying.

  • CURRENCY

Where possible, we advise all HOMECOMING travellers to use cash for payments at HOMECOMING and while in Lagos. Card services can be inefficient in Nigeria, although a reliable alternative to cash is Mastercard (E.G. MONZO)
